Thought this school year I have not done much client work because I was working on SkillsUSA the first 5-6 weeks. However I did design a T-shirt, made business cards, and make my graduation invitations. First the t-shirt I designed for my sister, she needed a shirt designed for a walk/run she was hosting in april. She gave me their logo and that was it. For this I didn’t do hand drawn sketches, I ended up creating different layouts on my phone using an app called PicsArt, which is almost the same concept as Photoshop, after laying out a few ideas she really liked one of them and decided to use it. She took the design to the printer and did the rest herself. Also I created a business card for my client who is a plumber and occasionally remodels. I first started out with typing his name out and working from there, since I was going to be working with text fonts I went straight to the computer. My final layout for this design I made the card water themed, in which I added a water drop and had his name half floating and half sinking in the water. Finally I ended up using VistaPrint to print the cards.
